Polaroid peel-apart film (also called pack film) must be pulled from the camera to start chemical processing which continues until the film is peeled apart after a specific amount of time that varies based on film type. The challenge for users of this format is to start a timer and pull the film from the camera simultaneously because pulling the film out requires two hands.
A simple timer app that allows the user to select a processing time, and when the timer is activated, runs a short countdown before starting the timer, giving the user sufficient time to start the timer and pick up their camera with both hands.
The app was designed and uploaded to GitHub as a possible open source project. If you are a photographer who uses Polaroid pack film, the project is in search of a developer.
